ABOUT THE GAME

What happens when you mix roguelite, tactical action, tower defense and tactical action? You get ENDLESS™ Dungeon. Developed by Amplitude Studios and set in the award-winning ENDLESS™ Universe, you play as a team of shipwrecked heroes for which the action never stops. Plunge into a long-abandoned space station, and protect your crystal against never-ending waves of monsters… or die trying, reload, and try again.

APPROACH

  • Group up creators that know and like each other to showcase the co-op element live on Twitch.

  • Prepare an extensive and comprehensive briefing with key information about the game and tips and tricks documentation to help them highlight the tactical elements of the game.

  • Give it a creative twist with challenges for the creators to accomplish in exchange for gifted subs for their community.

When SEGA approached us with a creator campaign for ENDLESS Dungeon, we knew we had to identify creators who play rogue-lite, tower defense and tactical strategy titles. But perhaps even more important, who appreciate teaming up with fellow streamers to play alongside with.

By teaming up the vast majority of participating creators into squads, we put co-op gameplay at the heart of this campaign. Next, we needed to spice things up. To enhance engagement, we introduced a series of challenges that emphasized ENDLESS Dungeon’s most essential game mechanics. Creators who successfully completed these challenges were gifted Twitch subscriptions for their viewers. The harder the challenge, the bigger the reward.

These challenges served a dual purpose. Beyond the thrill of competition and rewards, they provided a practical, in-depth tutorial for content creators. As they tackled the tasks, their viewers were given a clearer, more nuanced understanding of the game’s strategic layers, often overlooked in the default tutorial.

The challenges were very well received by those who partook, achieving impressive engagement numbers and allowing us to gift a significant number of subscriptions, which the community was grateful for —some even reached out with direct messages of thanks.

For the French market, we collaborated with a prominent creator named Eventis. This partnership culminated in a team-based tournament involving multiple French creators. This not only amplified our reach in the region, but also achieved it in a cost-effective manner.

RESULTS

Overall, the campaign yielded very satisfactory results. With the average streaming overtime sitting at 75 minutes and 73 completed challenges, it is clear that both the challenge campaign as well as ENDLESS Dungeon itself were well received among participating creators.
